SMALL BIO OF KORNELIA HANNA:
From a very early age on I was already into cooking and healthy food. I don’t know where that came from since I grew up in Austria in a household with its typical heavy cuisine (Gulasch, Wiener Schnitzel and all). In the first grade I had already started watching cooking shows and begun collecting magazine clippings on how to achieve beauty from within with fruits and vegetables. By the time I was 11 years old I was cooking lunch either Saturday or Sunday for my family at home trying out healthy recipes I came across.
In my thirties I started to get into detoxes and have tried many including the 30 day Maple Juice cleanse.
In my 40s I became better educated on detoxing protocols that consisted of juicing and have implemented them regularly in my life.
In January 2018 I got diagnosed with breast cancer and I wasn’t sure at first if I should go holistically all the way or the traditional route. Being stage 1 I didn’t want to risk anything and decided to go the traditional route with implementing juicing.
Before my treatment started I went on a 30 day juice cleanse/fast. I drank vegetable juices (any vegetable I liked went into the juicer) and vegetable broth and herbal teas, if I wanted something warm. At the same time I was on a high turmeric protocol. I felt better than I have felt in a long time, tons of energy and ready to start to do this “chemotherapy”. Throughout my treatment I continued on juicing and ate vegan only still implementing turmeric and some other supplements. I did have tough days going through chemo but I was not suffering through it, but because of all the juicing and the way I was eating, I sailed through it. I was always the happiest and the one with most, or really the only patient with energy on the oncology station sipping on my juices or avocado-drinks I made and brought with me.
Buying a juicer was one of the best investments I made for my health. I believe in the power of juicing not just for restoring one’s health but maintaining health and beauty from within.
